Terms of Service

These terms govern how you use Sufra as a shop owner. We wrote them in plain language — please read them before you subscribe.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

01Who we are

Sufra (سُفرة) is a Lebanese digital-menu platform at sufra.page. It helps restaurants, cafés and shops publish a QR-code menu, take orders and reservations, and stay in touch with their guests.

The platform is operated by [Founder to decide: legal name of the operating entity], at [Founder to decide: official address]. In these terms, “Sufra” or “we” means that entity, and “you” or “the shop” means the account holder and the business they represent.

02Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using the dashboard, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You confirm that you are of legal age and authorised to act for the shop you register.

Guests who browse or order from a shop's menu deal with that shop directly; the Privacy Policy covers their data.

03The service

Sufra provides tools including: a multilingual digital menu with designs, orders (at the table, pickup or delivery), reservations, birthdays and gifts, loyalty cards, the Saber AI host, menu analytics, and optional ad-pixel integrations. Available features depend on your plan.

Sufra takes no commission on your orders and never handles your guests' money. Payment between a guest and the shop happens directly between them; Sufra is not a party to it.

WhatsApp messages: every WhatsApp message Sufra prepares (an order, a confirmation, a reminder…) opens ready-made in WhatsApp on the sender's own device, and is only sent when a person taps Send. Sufra does not use any WhatsApp API and sends no automated messages on anyone's behalf.

We keep improving the service and may add, change or retire features. If we retire a core feature of your plan during a paid period, we will tell you in advance where we can.

04Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your password secret, and for everything done through your account, including staff accounts you add.

Tell us on WhatsApp straight away if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission.

05Plans and prices

  • Menu: US$15 per month.
  • Growth: US$35 per month.
  • Branches: US$79 per month.

Paying yearly costs ten months — two months free.

We may run limited-time offers, such as the Founding Restaurants offer (a full year of Growth for US$250). Each offer is governed by the conditions announced when you subscribe, such as the number of spots, the deadline and how long the price is locked.

We may change prices in the future and will announce it in advance. A change never affects a period you paid for before it was announced.

06Free trial

Every new shop starts with a 7-day free trial — no card, no commitment. If you sign up through another shop's invite (“Invite a friend”), the trial is 14 days — twice the usual length.

If the trial ends without a paid subscription, the menu stops showing to guests (after any grace period we announce). Your shop's data is kept as described in the Privacy Policy, and you can subscribe at any time to bring the menu back.

07Payment

Payment is currently manual: by Whish, OMT or cash. After paying, you upload a photo of the receipt on the billing page of your dashboard, and the subscription is activated once the Sufra team confirms the payment arrived.

Sufra does not accept card payments and never asks for or stores card numbers.

Your subscription runs for the period you paid for, as shown on the billing page. If a receipt cannot be confirmed (for example, the money did not arrive or does not match the plan), we will contact you to sort it out.

08Freezing your subscription

If you need to close temporarily (season, renovation, an emergency), you can freeze your subscription from the dashboard:

  • Freezing is available to paid subscriptions only, not during the free trial.
  • Each freeze lasts 7 to 60 days, with a maximum of 60 days per year.
  • While frozen, guests see that the shop is temporarily closed, and your end date moves forward by the frozen days.
  • If you come back early, the unused days are given back.

09Renewal, cancellation and refunds

There is no automatic renewal and no automatic charge: your subscription ends on the last day of the paid period unless you renew it with a new payment.

You can stop at any time by not renewing, or by asking us on WhatsApp to close your account. The menu stays live until the end of the paid period.

Refunds: monthly payments are non-refundable. A yearly payment can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of paying, minus the value of the days already used.

After the subscription stops (or the trial ends without one) or the account is closed, we keep the shop's data for 90 days from the day it stopped; after that it may be deleted permanently. Before then, you can ask for a copy of your data or for its deletion.

10Your menu and your guests' data

Your menu belongs to you: the texts, prices, photos and logo you upload remain yours. Your guests' data (orders, reservations, phone numbers…) is your shop's data too.

You give Sufra a limited permission to host, process, display and translate that content, only as needed to provide the service to you. We will not feature your menu in Sufra's marketing without your consent.

We process your guests' data on your behalf and only to provide the service to you: we do not sell it, and we do not use it to contact your guests for ourselves or for anyone else.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload — for example, you do not use other people's photos without permission.

11Your responsibilities

  • The accuracy of prices, descriptions, ingredients and allergen information on your menu, and keeping them up to date.
  • Complying with the Lebanese laws that apply to your shop, including food-safety, price-display and consumer-protection rules.
  • Fulfilling the orders and reservations you receive and dealing with your guests about them.
  • WhatsApp messages you send your guests (offers, reminders…) are sent by you: do not message anyone who asked you to stop, and do not spam.
  • If you enable ad pixels (Meta, TikTok or Google) or the Meta Conversions API, you are responsible for informing your guests and getting their consent where the law requires it, and for following those companies' terms.

12AI features

Some features use AI: the Saber host that answers guests, menu import from a photo, design suggestions and translation.

AI output can contain mistakes. Review imported menus and translations before publishing them. Saber does not replace asking staff about sensitive matters such as food allergies.

Sufra does not use your shop's or your guests' data to train AI models.

13Acceptable use

You may not use Sufra to:

  • Sell or promote goods or services that are illegal.
  • Publish content that is misleading, offensive, hateful or infringes other people's rights.
  • Impersonate another shop or person.
  • Send spam or collect people's data without their permission.
  • Attempt to break into, disrupt or overload the platform, bypass usage limits, or scrape it.
  • Resell or rent out the service without a written agreement with us.

If these rules are broken, we may hide the content concerned or suspend the account. We will warn you first where we can, unless the breach is serious or harms others.

14Availability

We work to keep Sufra available and fast, but we do not guarantee it will run without interruption or errors. The service may sometimes stop because of maintenance, outages at our hosting and service providers, internet or power cuts, or events beyond our control.

We give no uptime guarantee. The menu is designed to keep showing from the phone's memory on a weak connection, but that does not replace a simple fallback for emergencies, such as a paper menu.

15Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

To the extent the law allows, Sufra is not liable for indirect losses — such as lost profits, orders, reputation or data — arising from using or being unable to use the service.

In any case, Sufra's total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Sufra is not responsible for the relationship between a shop and its guests: food quality, prices, delivery, payment or any dispute between them.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

16Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may stop providing the service to an account that breaks these terms or whose subscription is unpaid.

If we ever decide to shut Sufra down, we will give you reasonable notice so you can take a copy of your data.

17Sufra's property

The Sufra name, logo, designs, templates and the software behind the platform belong to Sufra. Using the service gives you no rights in them beyond using it under these terms.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them to improve the service without any obligation to you.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will publish the new version here with its last-updated date. If a change is material, we will tell you through the dashboard or WhatsApp at least 14 days before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

19Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. We always try to settle any disagreement amicably by talking first; if that fails, the courts of Beirut will have jurisdiction.

If the Arabic and English texts differ, the Arabic text prevails.
